How to create an emblem

When we formed our guild, one of the things we set out to do right away was 
to create an emblem for the guild.  The problem was hardly anyone REALLY knew 
how to create one, what the specifications were, or how to get one in the 
guild menu.  One thing is for sure though, the image has to be a 24x24 picture.  
What was not definate was where the image should be place, and how to get 
the image to load in the game.

To create your emblem, follow these steps:
1) Open up your favorite paint program, and create a 24x24 pixel image.  Create 
any kind of logo you want, and save it with any filename.  The one big rule 
here is that the file has to be saved in bitmap (.bmp) format, no other formats 
will work.

2) Open up your explorer, and go to the directory where you installed Ragnarok, 
this will most likely be "C:\Program Files\Gravity\RagnarokOnline".  Here you 
will see a directory called "_tmpEmblem", now whatever people told you about 
this directory, none of it is true.  The "_tmpEmblem" directory almost has 
no use other than storing Emblems of other guilds you've seen, like a cache.  
In the Ragnarok directory, you need to create a new directory called "Emblem" 
(case insensitive).  The file you created in step 1 should be saved in this 
directory (again in bitmap format).

3) Start up Ragnarok.  Once you've logged in, press Alt+g (the guild menu).  Once 
there, go to the "Guild Info" tab, it's the first tab in the Guild window.  You 
should see an "edit" button on the top-right section of the window.  This was 
the button that confused a lot of people into thinking that their ragnarok was 
messed up, because the button wouldn't show anything.  But now that you've 
created the "Emblem" directory and saved your image in there, a little dropdown 
menu will show up, and give you the option of picking the emblem you just 
created.  Select it, and now you're done.
